California, brace yourselves. Beginning this Friday, hoards of music fans will be donning fringe crop-tops, DIY band T-shirts, jean cutoffs, and maybe a headdress or two — all with the purpose of flocking to Coachella. Just in case you were maybe practicing these money-saving tips or simply didn't feel like shelling out a cool $400 for a ticket, you can catch the first weekend online for free.
Starting at 3:30 PDT (7:30 EST) on Friday, Coachella's official YouTube channel will be live streaming the event for the third year in a row. Between three different feeds, you'll be able to catch over 60 artists play between five of Coachella's stages. You can brag to your ticket-holding friends that you even got to see some artist interviews, too — and didn't have to choose between Wu-Tang Clan and Dead Can Dance like so many of you out there will.
Time to stock up on incense, IPAs, and maybe pitch a tent in your living room 'cause you only have a few more days to plan the sickest Coachella viewing party, ever. With air conditioning. And working toilets.
