This is big news, people. The original line up of Wu-Tang Clan (minus Ol’ Dirty Bastard, RIP) will tour the U.K. this July. And the hip-hop group will also release their sixth studio album, A Better Tomorrow, in the summer.
RZA explained the reasoning behind the reunion: “We need to, one time, completely, efficiently, properly, professionally represent our brand. One more time. But this time, showing up on time for press and for concerts and studio. Do it one time, perfect.” Lofty goals, for sure.
The band will be coming to the U.K in July to play two concerts — at the Manchester Apollo, July 25 and at London’s Brixton Academy, July 26. Who knows when we’ll have another opportunity to see these hip-hop legends play together again? Mark your calendars. In ink. (Daily Mail)
