You know you're a bona fide L.A. foodie when you're still talking about the biscuit you ate on Monday — and the hours you spent in traffic to get to it. If this sounds familiar, we suggest you brace yourself: Le Grand Fooding is hosting Crush Paris-L.A., an outdoor picnic-slash-festival that can't be missed.
Held at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, this two-day event will celebrate cuisines from both the City of Light and the City of Angels. Renowned chefs from both locales will be participating: The impressive list includes French stars Jean-François Piège of his eponymous restaurant, Grégory Marchand (Frenchie), Sven Chartier (Saturne), and Inaki Aizpitarte (Le Chateaubriand) — and L.A.'s Nancy Silverton (Mozza), Roy Choi (Kogi BBQ), Ludo Lefebvre (Trois Mec), Josef Centeno (Bäco Mercat), Jordan Kahn (Red Medicine), and Carolynn Spence (Château Marmont). Expect to sample exclusive recipes, sip champagne, and jam to Parisian and Angeleno DJs (we hear a surprise performance is in store!).

When: Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27, 6 to 10 p.m.
Where: The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, 152 North Central Avenue (near East 1st Street); 213-626-6222.
