Summer’s Most Glamour-ous Set Of Sunnies Are Named Mabel, Of Course

Inspiration_w

Glamour of the '20s is not quite the same as glamour of the '60s, '90s, or today, but that signature mix of sexiness and sophistication never feels outdated. So, it comes as no surprise that
Glamour
, the magazine, looked to its archives for inspiration for its recent Glamour For All collaboration. Teaming with on-fire eyewear line Warby Parker, the Condé Nast publication has just released a collection of octagonal, marble frames, making its debut today.

Channeling the part statement-making/part mysterious shades in this 1967 editorial, the new Warby Parker frames feel retro but totally on-trend for sunny days ahead. And Mabel — the sunglasses' name, should you need to address her — also captures all that effortless magnetism at the affordable prices and easy-to-test-drive experience that WP is known for. Now, all we need is a stripe-blocked ensemble, handkerchief hair 'do, and convertible with the top rolled down (because why not?), and we'll have summertime glamour on lock.
