Selfridges Makes Building Your Dream Wardrobe That Much Easier

If there were ever an example of two ships passing in the night, it's most definitely the relationship you have with your DHL guy. Seriously, you are almost never home when he comes with those shoes you ordered online. And, though he tries very hard to reach you, you inevitably end up having to pick up your delivery at some mail office in a completely dodgy neighbourhood — despite the fact that there's an office right across the street from your flat.
Enter stage right, Selfridges. The luxury department store's latest ingenious idea, Click&Collect, gives shoppers greater flexibility with their online shopping. This new service combines the convenience of e-shopping with the added luxury of picking up your items at in a bricks-and-mortar store, rather than trying to time a delivery or waiting weeks for your items to arrive in a box. As long as you place your order before 4 p.m., you can collect them the next day at one of the four Selfridges stores. Plus, Selfridges is also offering free 30-minute parking (a real life-saver if you're in London).

Once you arrive in store, you can try on your items before you go. And, if you forgot to include anything, you can add items to your order using the iPads provided. Selfridges will begin enabling both your online and in-store shopping habit on May 9. The clock is ticking. (Selfridges)
