We already know Rooney Mara can do the edgy, goth-gone-couture thing with aplomb. But did you know she can pull off casual, downtown-chic, too? The proof is in the publicity with the just-released images of her campaign for the new Calvin Klein fragrance, Downtown (not to be confused with Downton). As much as we love her with super-sleek hair and dark purple lipstick, the bare-faced, doe-eyed thing is really working for her.
Hot off the heels of a major re-brand for the CK label, WWD reports this could mean a $120 million sales boon for Calvin Klein. As for the fragrance itself, you'll be enjoying a floral, woody scent with notes of bergamot, green pear, Italian cedrat, and watery plum. Is that what Ms. Mara smells like in real life? We don't know, but we're going to go ahead and assume. Get it for yourself this July! (WWD)
