Yes, Kate Mara and Kerry Washington are the epitome of accomplished, awesome women who do us proud. So are Elisabeth Moss, Connie Britton, and Anna Gunn (Skylar on Breaking Bad). But, there was a time — gasp! — when they were just like us or possibly worse off; struggling to make it work in the Hollywood or NYC acting circuit while scrimping by on jobs at movie theaters, cleaning up nightmarish apartments, and even, scrubbing toilets. In this roundtable video accompanying the June issue of The Hollywood Reporter, TV's favorite faces talk the ups and downs of growing up dreaming of stardom, and as much as we love seeing them act, we really love some good ol' fashioned real talk. Though, to be fair, we can't possibly imagine prim-but-badass Peggy cleaning up a movie theater bathroom. (The Hollywood Reporter)
