It Brit and beloved fashion editor and stylist Annabel Tollman died in her sleep of a blood clot last night, according to The Cut. She was only 39 years old.
Her career was an illustrious one, and a true example of the versatility and ubiquity of fashion. From dressing celebrities like Mary Kate Olsen and Scarlett Johansson to working as Interview magazine's first fashion director, she was a mainstay on the scene and a pioneer in the increasingly important career of celebrity styling. She also recently brought her good eye to eBay's fashion section. The whole industry is in mourning right now, ourselves included, at the loss of such a bright and lovely figure. Peter Som said it best on his Facebook page: "I am trying not to believe that you are gone. I will miss your smile and your laughter — the world is not quite as beautiful without you. I am truly truly truly speechless." Rest in peace, Annabel, you will be missed — and our thoughts and prayers go out to Ms. Tollman's family today.
