Going To Glastonbury? There’s An App For That

Never one to miss a trick, the grandfather of the U.K. festival scene, Glastonbury, just updated its app, and it is cooler and cleverer than we might have expected.
Making life a lot easier for the hoards of festival-goers, the app allows users to plan ahead, build itineraries, and share schedules through their social media channels. Or, in short, it's designed specifically to make us sorry souls at home insanely jealous.
Designed by EE, Glastonbury’s official digital partner, the app is available to download on Apple and Android handsets now, and there’s already plenty to get you hyped up for the event. But don’t despair, non-ticketholders. There’s something for you, too. To help you totally feel like you’re at the festival yourself, the kind people over at the BBC have promised to upload over 250 hours of live coverage and streaming content. So, grab your Hunter wellies, plug in your earphones, and say hello Glastonbury minus the mud — sort of. (Digital Spy)
