For months since the newest Breaking Bad episode aired, we’ve been feeling a bit like a parent preparing to send our firstborn off to college — excited for what’s to come, but also completely in denial, hopelessly clinging to the past. So imagine our conflicting emotions when AMC released the gripping promo for the final episodes yesterday! Though we can hardly wait to see Walt and Jesse together again in all their on-screen glory, the cinematic teaser left us with a big ‘ol lump in our throat and all kinds of burning questions: Is Walt going to retire his more sociopathic alter ego forever, or continue his obsessive quest for a perverse kind of fame and glory? Is Walt Jr. going to find out about his dad? And what about Hank?!
The promo is more emotional and chilling than revealing of any new plot development, and it certainly tugged at our heartstrings. It's been five seasons — will Walt finally lose everything?
