Thanks to technology, anything and everything you might want is at your fingertips. Need to decide on a movie? Check out Rotten Tomatoes. Looking for a date in your area? Hit up the app Tinder. Want to score some breast milk from fellow health-conscious mothers? Uh yeah... apparently you can do that online, too.
Enter Alicia Silverstone's "Kind Mama Milk Share." Inspired by a friend who was unable to breastfeed, Silverstone — who is a staunch vegan — has offered up her blog, The Kind Life, as a place where moms can connect with other moms who make healthy lifestyle choices. Readers can post whether they are willing to pass on their own breast milk or are in need of some. (And, you thought your friends' flurry of Facebook check-ins was oversharing.)

As if breastfeeding wasn't controversial enough — see the infamous Time magazine cover — throw in some milk-swapping and you're bound to be met with opposition. Namely, critics of Silverstone's idea are quick to point out that milk needs to be tested for a variety of diseases, including STDs, before it's safe for your baby. A vegan lifestyle does not a saint make...so don't let that leche go unchecked, ladies!
So what do you think: Is Silverstone's endeavor cuckoo or caring?
