Just Announced: The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund’s 10 Rising Stars

You might not know everyone on this list — but you will. Vogue and the CFDA just announced their lineup of finalists for the Fashion Fund, which is a pretty fair barometer of the future success of brands, and this time, they reached deeper than they usually do into the indie pool to fill some of their spots. Among some brands that are already well-connected and -funded, this year's roster is also packed with true up-and-comers who could really use the mentorship, business connections, and cash prize of $300,000 (or $100,000 for each of the two runners-up).
The finalists were announced yesterday evening at selection committee members David Neville and Marcus Wainwright's studio space with Vogue's Anna Wintour and The CFDA's Steven Kolb. The dream team will participate in a fashion show at the Chateau Marmont in L.A. as well as a special Uniqlo design project in November. Find the full list of finalists below. (WWD)
