Hair loss might soon be a thing of the past, thanks to a group of presumably brilliant people (including a NASA scientist) who have devoted their lives to the health of your hair follicles. And, it seems they might have actually found the cure for thinning locks: Enter the Theradome Laser Helmet, the first — nay, the only — FDA approved clinical-strength laser hair therapy situation that can be used in the comfort of one's own home. Which is good, because we're not all that excited about wearing a laser hair helmet in public — it just wouldn't match our August makeup.

So, more importantly, does it work? Apparently, it's been proven to grow new, healthy hair, while doubling the follicle size of existing hair, and slowing down/stopping hair loss. With clinical-strength lasers precisely tailored to maximize human hair growth, use of this helmet for 20 minutes twice a week showed that hair began to regrow after 52 treatments. It's also completely safe to use.
The other exciting part of this helmet is the price. As reported by The Cut, the helmets currently only cost $375 as a promotion, but will eventually retail for $675. If that sounds like a lot, think about the fact that an in-office treatment would run you around $3,000 per year. It sounds like a miracle. But hey, isn't that what science is? (The Cut)
