Swoon: Jordan Catalano Gets All Sexy For Hugo Boss’ Latest Scent

Sorry, Jared Leto, but to us you were, are, and forever will be Mr. Jordan Catalano. It doesn't help that he doesn't look a day older than he did back in the '90s when he was on My So-Called Life — the years have been very kind to him. We mean, just look at how downright foxy he's looking in these new ads for Hugo Boss' new Red fragrance, for which he is the face. This photo could have been taken from an issue of Tiger Beat circa 1995.
The 41-year-old (!) has fronted for the brand before with its 2011 Just Different fragrance, and it noted that Leto was a natural fit for this new scent: "A modern icon of originality, [Leto] is renowned for his extraordinary creativity and unique talent, making him a natural fit with the Hugo brand and the Hugo Red concept."

It also doesn't hurt that the man looks damn fine brooding intently in those campaign visuals. Careful, though: Science has proven that it's possible to lose yourself in that brooding gaze. We opened this image file with the intention of resizing it, only to lose a full two hours staring slack-jawed at our computer screens. You've been warned.
The scent itself is built around two contrasting accords: Solid Chill, which features grapefruit, rhubarb, and a metallic accent; and Liquid Heat, which has cedar wood and hot amber. Speaking about the fragrance, Leto cryptically said, "I think creativity and pushing boundaries go hand in hand, and originality comes from individuals who are willing to take chances, to bet on themselves." We'll bet on you any day, Jordan — erm, we mean Jared.

Hugo Boss Hugo Red, $52, available in late August at Hugo Boss.
