Fashion Week just won't be the same without Danish babe Freja Beha Erichsen, who consistently shuts down catwalks from New York to Paris, showing off her stellar street style in between. So, while we were sad to hear Erichsen has no plans to return to the runway next month, all of that heartache quickly turned to intrigue when we caught word that she's teaming up with Mother for a denim capsule collection. Yes, one of our favorite models is swapping out her heels for a sketchbook and some thread.
The collaboration, which is Erichsen's first venture into the design world, will feature a number of covetable, classic denim pieces, including skinny-fit jeans, moto pants, cutoff shorts, and chambray tops. Sales from the collection, made with Mother cofounders Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, will also benefit the international medical humanitarian organization, Doctors Without Borders — because, yes, this model has got a lot more than just a beautiful face. Want in on Erichsen's design debut? You'll be able to find the looks at Nordstrom this fall, with prices falling between $145 and $300. (Style)
