So, we already know that Lily Collins is one of the most adorable celebs out there. We pretty much want to pinch her cheeks at all times — can ya blame us? But, leave it to the genetically gifted star (don't get us started on those eyebrows!) to remind us of her grown-up status in the most extreme way. Collins covered Flaunt's latest issue, and went full-on punk for the occasion — we're talking a mile-high mohawk (decked out in every color of the rainbow) and goth-inspired duds.
Not surprisingly, we were totally blown away by her new look. The girl can totally rock some dark makeup. After we got over our initial mohawk-induced shock, we realized that she might be one of the most proper interviewees out there. Call it a product of her partial English upbringing (cheerio to you, Phil Collins!), but she's pretty much the exact opposite of the typical Hollywood teen star. Over high tea in Beverly Hills, she confessed her love for all things Jane Austen, eschewed the L.A. club scene (and drinking altogether), and took every opportunity to compliment her parents.
She even went so far as to profess her love for working with the press and hitting the junket scene, which requires a level of patience and kindheartedness we can't even fathom. Flaunt's chalking up her appreciation for the media from her stints as a cub reporter for Teen Vogue and Nickelodeon, and her time studying journalism at USC — which, in our book, gives her the ultimate bragging rights. Head over to Flaunt to read the interview in its entirety, get her musings on The Breakfast Club, and, of course, marvel at her newly-goth look. (Flaunt)
