As a fashion-forward set, the concept of "oversized" doesn't really bother us. Oversized sweaters are so our jam, oversized clutches are basically our go-to Fashion Week accessory, and overused sunglasses….well, let's just say we owe the Olsens a whole lot. But when it comes our feet, it's kind of a different story.
Alexander Wang usually sets the tone for footwear trends each season (among other things), but the oversized mules gave us pause. With a toe that extends a good inch beyond where your real toes end (with an obvious peep-toe, so there's no real mystery going on), it's an unusual design that makes us second guess why an oversized heel or sole is okay, but not an oversized toe bed. At the very least, the extra bit reminds us of our awkward adolescence where we struggled to get used to our ever-changing shoe sizes. You remember how many face-plants you suffered those days, right?
