The annual CoolBrands list is exactly what it sounds like: a list curated by influencers and voted on by a panel of consumers about the most relevant brands of the day. And, for the 2013 edition, Chanel has been named the number one coolest fashion brand, as British Vogue reports today. Of course, with a name so noteworthy, we're not all that surprised that the Lagerfeld-led designs and interlocking-C logo topped the fash pack. But, make no mistake, while Chanel is cool, it's still playing second fiddle to Apple.
The tech giant tops the entire CoolBrands list, followed by Aston Martin, Rolex, and Nike, respectively, as the article reports. Chanel reps for the fashion world and comes in at 13. It makes us wonder if the general public had to pick one, would they choose their iPhones over a 2.55? We'll let you think about that one before you take to the comments. (Vogue)
