We've been waiting with bated breath for the launch of ThandieKay, Thandie Newton's beauty blog (whose goal is to make the beauty sphere more diverse). When it finally went live last week, it did not disappoint. One of the first features to appear was an interview with the ever-stunning Lucy Liu about her beauty feelings, and we just about ate it up.
From her earliest memories of watching her mother put her makeup on to the craziest places she's had her makeup done (a tiny airport bathroom), our favorite part of this interview is how relatable it is. Though Liu is clearly next-level gorg, her thoughts on beauty aren't all that different from ours. And, as for what she would like to see more of from the industry? "More foundations, concealers, and blush colors that are right for all ethnicities and skin types," she said. We think so, too.

Head on over to ThandieKay to check out the interview, and join us as we keep an eye on this new site, in general. It's off to a great start. (ThandieKay)
