Now That’s How You Wear Serious Nail Art

So, you know, nail art. It's come, it's gone, and it's come back again — but we could never quite figure out how we felt about it (and if we'd ever, you know, wear it to a serious business meeting). Bright colors are one thing — they're a great way to add personality and sass to a more serious outfit — but crazy designs? Readers, we could never really tell if we were manwoman enough to sport that on an average Wednesday.

Until, that is, we saw this woman on the street at Milan Fashion Week, who balanced a polished and professional dress with bright lipstick, a playful necklace, and flat-out-bananas nail art. Not only are there bright colors and kitschy designs involved, but every single nail has a totally unique look. So, yeah, we'd say that this one image is making us totally rethink our mixed feelings on nail art — apparently, the key to pulling it off is to fully commit to the look.
