There's not doubt about it. Marc Jacobs is one of the busiest men in fashion, with two labels that bear his name and creative directing Louis Vuitton for the past 16 years. But, less than a week before the spring '14 runway show at Paris Fashion Week, rumors have been swirling that Jacobs' schedule could be clearing up a bit since, according to British Vogue, he may be stepping down from his position at the French fashion house.
While there has not been any public confirmation from Louis Vuitton, Challenges magazine claims that the decision has already been made among the company walls. Of course, with our eyes currently toward the Paris shows, we'll be eagerly watching to see if Jacobs will be taking a final bow. And, if so, who will be vetted to take over? Reuters suggests this could be Nicolas Ghesquière's opportunity to return to the runway. But, we won't jump to conclusions just yet. (Vogue UK)
