Among the list of the most valuable brands in the world, the top five don't come as a huge surprise: Apple, Google, Coca-Cola, IBM, and Microsoft, respectively. So, yes, tech rules. But, finding a place at #17 on the lineup compiled by Interbrand is the first fashion brand to make the list, Louis Vuitton.
While Chanel may be the coolest of labels, as Business Insider reports, it's the classic LV that's financially excelling the most. Valued at $24.9 billion, the brand — that could soon be in the market for a new creative director — has maintained the same ranking as last year's Interbrand list, although its value has increased by 6%. Of course, when it comes to how other fashion brands ranked, H&M falls in at 21, Nike at 24, and Zara at 36. The next valuable luxury label is Gucci, coming in at 38. And, sadly, no, our coolest friends at Chanel did not make the cut at all. (Business Insider)
