As the second-highest paid model in the world and the founder of her own beauty company, Miranda Kerr is one of the most successful women of our time. Oh, and did we mention she's married to total sauce pot Orlando Bloom, and mother to their adorable child, Flynn? Okay, we might be a little jealous.
Kerr is also the November cover star of Cosmo, where she explains that her success really stems from her natural entrepreneurship. She told the magazine, “I’m a lot stronger than people think. I started my own company, invested my own money in it, and have been involved in every facet. I’m that person who says, no matter what the problem is, there’s a solution. That’s the way my brain is wired. If someone says to me, ‘Well, that’s not possible. It can’t happen,’ I say, ‘Yes it is. I’m going to sit here and show you that it can.’ I can take no for an answer and accept it — but if there’s a solution and I can make it work, why wouldn’t I?”
She also opens up about her relationship with Bloom and her role as a mother, and it's all very heartwarming — but it's not what caught our eye. Turns out, Kerr likes to get in a very feminine, sexy place as soon as she gets home from work, explaining that lingerie that makes you feel good can be just as empowering as a day of being in charge of your own company: "Sexy underwear also gives you a spark. I collect underwear from my travels. Lace, lingerie, bodysuits…they’re like souvenirs.” We're into it!
The November issue hits stands on October 8.
