Tomorrow may seem like a just a typical Thursday, but for shelter-mag freaks (hi there, friends!), tomorrow is D-Day. Domino magazine is making a big comeback tomorrow, with the launch of its e-commerce site, an exclusive story to be published in The New York Times, and the unveiling of a print quarterly (image at left!).
WWD reports that the e-commerce site will be part curated products, part posts on decor, and will be filled with shoppable items and advice. The magazine's cover has already been unveiled, and the setup is heartwarmingly, delightfully familiar, right down to the stories promised: easy holiday entertaining tips, no-stress flower arrangements, and a gift guide promising "ads of items for less than $300." The best part? The magazine and all of its archives will be available in full online — and we have a feeling that we can thank editor Michelle Adams, founder of the epic e-magazine Lonny, for that. Adams knows a thing or two about the power of the purchasing power of the impatient online reader (again, hi friends!). Keep this link here bookmarked, and we'll see you on there at midnight! (WWD)
