When it comes to saying "let's do this" — for life — we're staunchly in favor of the unexpected. And, while a pink wedding dress doesn't exactly tear up the bridal-gown pattern, Vera Wang's fall '14 collection is redefining the usually prim-and-proper hue.
As HuffPost Style's roundup can attest, Wang's fall line is not only devoid of white, but also the paler, more traditional shades of pink. Not a blush, not a pastel, nor a champagne in sight. Instead Vera Wang is pushing the color's limits with corals, roses, peonies, and petals — while large flower embellishments edge the dresses into the next level.
Besides bringing pink into its off-season, we think the white-free line is a bold statement and bolder move. Maybe enough to bring colorful wedding gowns into the mainstream — for good. Either way, there's one thing we agree on: These are nice shades for a bright wedding. (HuffPost Style)
