Now that the hot Irish actor Jamie Dornan has nabbed the role of Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey, we are finding out everything about him. For instance: He and wife Amelia Warner are expecting their first child in the spring!
The couple wed back in April and revealed that they were expecting their first child back in June, but that was before Dornan signed on for this role, and presumably before the entire world was became obsessed with the young couple. Warner is also an actress and appeared in the live-action version of Aeon Flux as Una Flux, and in Quills opposite Charlize Theron. She has a singing career, too, and performs under the moniker, Slow Moving Millie.
Warner was previously linked to Colin Farrell, to whom she "wed" on a beach in 2001. "We didn't actually get married — it's not actually true. I think we've been too polite to deny it," she told The Sun in 2011. "We had a ceremony on a beach in Tahiti that was by no means legal and we knew it wasn't. It was just a thing we did on holiday. We went shark feeding and then we did that. We booked them both on the activities desk at the hotel ... It really wasn't this secret wedding that no one was invited to. It was lovely, it was silly, it was sweet but by no means was it a serious thing and I think my mum thought it was quite funny." As for Dornan, you may recall that he was boyfriend to Keira Knightley (the pair dated from 2003 to 2005). When they broke up, he wrote a song about her that included the lines, "I can see your fancy friends trying to steal your innocence .... you're so weak around them.” Ouch.
Well, all's well that ends well. This baby will be in very good hands; Dornan's father and stepmother are gynecology and obstetric consultants in their native Northern Ireland. Though, we're pretty sure the expectant parents will wait a very, very long time before sharing dad's 50 Shades film with their kid. (Daily Mail)
