It's the ultimate intern success story. Jeremy Scott, former Moschino intern, has been named the creative director of the fashion house, it was announced today.
The news comes as a bit of a surprise, as we learned not only that the Los Angeles-based designer will be overseeing the Italian brand, but also that Moschino creative director, Rossella Jardini, will be stepping down from the position she's held since 1994. However, we have no doubt that Scott will step in quite naturally, mixing his own pop-culture quirk into the label whose whimsy is famous worldwide. The first Scott-designed Moschino collection will make its debut at Milan Fashion Week this spring. (WWD)
