Full House and The Little Rascals child star Blake McIver isn’t so little any more. If you ever wonder, “Where’s Waldo?” We’ve got the answer. Waldo Blake traded his tux for trunks and is working as a go-go dancer in L.A. And, he’s not ashamed to admit it. We still remember him as Michelle’s geeky frenemy Derek Boyd on Full House, performing that routine to Yankee Doodle, but Blake’s ready to be recognised for something else. “I'm not hiding who I am anymore — not pretending I'm something I'm not,” he says.
After being ridiculed and bullied as a teen in high school, 28-year-old Blake has told RumorFix that he finds go-go dancing “so liberating and empowering.” The aspiring singer-songwriter came out as gay three years ago and has found that dancing has helped him to deal with his self-confidence issues. “I had so much shame about my body. This was a way to express myself that was safe, sensual, and fun,” he says. Now he regularly shares snaps of his go-go getups on Instagram and Twitter, using the hashtag #LAgogo, and is soon to release his debut album. We say to him: You go-go, Waldo! (Mail Online)
