If weed made your skin worse, would you stop smoking it or would you be too stoned to care? (Don't answer that.) As reported by the Huffington Post, there's a good chance that pot might be wreaking havoc on your face, thanks to THC's tendency to increase testosterone production.
Testosterone, as we know, has been linked to acne. But, even without that connection, one's choice of munchies could also be causing less-than-savory results to show up on the face (simply swapping potato chips with grapes makes a big difference, in our humble, totally theoretical opinion).
Though, on the flip side, THC has also been found to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. So, how's anyone supposed to know whether we're harming or healing? Like most everything in life, we have a feeling that moderation is going to be key here. The HuffPo article does a great job of weighing the many sides of this conundrum, so head on over to read the whole thing, and then let us know what you think. (Huffington Post)
