How many film students can say they've directed Jessica Chastain, James Franco, Mila Kunis, and Zach Braff? Well, twelve newbie filmmakers from NYU can. The dozen directors all worked on the upcoming film Tar, which chronicles the life of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet C.K. Williams (played by Franco).
Tackling themes of love, loss, and memory, the movie is based on Williams' collection of poetry of the same name. It first premiered at the Rome Film Festival last year, but we're just now getting a peek at the official trailer. Though it's still without a release date, we cannot wait to see this one in theaters. Check out the trailer below and let us know if you agree.
