We want to shop the Isabel Marant x H&M collection first. We want to wrap ourselves up in that fuzzy, black-and-white jacket we've been dreaming of. But, we certainly don't want to lose sleep over it with a wee-hour-of-the-morning wake-up call just to wait in a line at the store longer than visitors at Disney World. Thankfully, we have another option.
Poshmark, the iPhone and Android app that allows you to sell your closet with as little as a cell-phone camera and touch of the screen, has let us in on a secret. Those major designer collaborations we queue ourselves up for — anyone else still catching up on sleep from Phillip Lim for Target? — are quickly found in the Poshmark marketplace once the collections go live. And, it makes sense why, too. As a community, Poshmark users are able to communicate with and sell to each other from afar — say, the distance between your jam-packed H&M in Herald Square and a much calmer location in a small town in the Midwest.
And, now, to help promote the new Marant goods expected to hit Poshmark, the app will be launching an Isabel Marant x H&M shopping party — essentially a destination for you to track down that quilted jacket and printed dress in one easy-to-navigate, in-the-palm-of-your-hand place. The party, open to Poshmark members who simply download the app, launches this Saturday, November 16. If it sounds sweet now, it will be even better once you've gotten your beauty rest.
