TLC & Lil Mama Performing “Waterfalls” Was The Best Part Of The AMAs

It might not be Thursday, but we've got a major throwback this morning. Last night's American Music Awards were filled with all kinds of musical goodies, but the far-and-away highlight for the '90s baby in all of us was the TLC reunion. T-Boz and Chilli announced their comeback this summer, but this was their first big, live debut. Rapper Lil Mama joined the group as the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and the trio performed a rendition of the iconic "Waterfalls" video.
They replicated it almost perfectly, even down to the memorable dance moves. It's been almost 20 years since the song came out, but we're still just as obsessed as the first time we played that cassette tape. Sure, the girl group was ever so slightly less upbeat this time around, but since it's been two decades, we're giving them a break. And, because it's just so much fun to reminisce, we care less about things like lip-synching. Check out the video below for a whole lot of crazy, sexy, cool. (Entertainment Weekly)
