Of all the many (cough, many) things in our makeup bag, there's nothing that holds the same level of mystery as our face powders. Loose, pressed, translucent, pigmented, silica — how's a girl ever to know the right way to powder her nose? Well, we're happy to say that we can officially add this product to the long list of things we've mastered thanks to James Vincent. In a new post for Beautylish, our go-to makeup guru spells out all things face powder, and "useful" doesn't really cover how we feel about this info.
Sure, we know the difference between a loose powder and a pressed powder, but we had no idea about things like the difference between all the various shades of color-correcting powders. Plus, with tips on application and interesting information about ingredients and what they do, this is a must-read post for makeup lovers of any skill level. And, if you're into it, this post is part of a larger series James is doing for Beautylish called "Building Your Kit." You can bet that we'll be taking notes on all of it. (Beautylish)
