It's the first week of December, and we haven't even finished polishing off the rest of our Thanksgiving leftovers, never mind tried to wrap our heads around things like holiday cards and gift lists. Luckily, we have Gwyneth Paltrow to remind us useless sloths how practically perfect she is. Prepare to hang your heads in shame.
In an interview for Boss Jour Pour Femme, fragrance spokesmodel Paltrow admits that she starts buying presents at least two months before Christmas, giving her enough time to have items personalized. She's also a solo shopper, and likes to do lots of gift research after little Apple and Moses have gone to bed. But here's the kicker: She's even got a Christmas Excel spreadsheet at her disposal.
"I have a master list of presents and people that I need to get presents for — work presents, kid presents, god children, friends," she says. "I start thinking about it a few months in advance, and then I see on this Excel sheet — I'm a total nerd — what I got them last year, and the year before."
We're pretty sure our dad likes getting novelty neckties every year, but each to their own. We will admit this, though: We'd love to be on GP's nice list.
