We like to think we know you pretty well, dear reader. So, if our suspicions are correct, you're spending this weekend getting in some holiday shopping. And, we know you're on the hunt for the coolest, most unique gifts for your loved ones (and, yourself). Don't worry, we've got you covered.
Today and tomorrow, the National Museum of the American Indian is hosting a special Native American Art Market. This free event is the perfect opportunity to support Native American artists and pick up some truly amazing items. The market features handmade jewelry, baskets and textiles, ceramics, beadwork, and more from 39 artists. The museum's gift shop will also have plenty of books, videos, Pendleton purses, sage, and turquoise earrings on hand for you to check out. Plus, you may just run into one of your own favorite designers — we hear the likes of Pamela Love has already made an appearance.
When: Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 1 Bowling Green (at Broadway); 212-514-3750.
