For us plebeians, the mere idea of wearing anything couture — period — is already a fantasy, but sporting couture and trying anything more active than standing absolutely still?
Give us a minute while we wrap our minds around it. But, for certain privileged members of Chanel's inner circle, haute couture is the outfit of choice for, say, mechanical-bull riding.
Lily Collins arrived at the Métiers d'Art fashion show in Dallas wearing a showstopping glittery dress from the Chanel fall '13 couture collection. Now, a getup this fancy might have stopped you and me from getting on the mechanical bull at the after-party, but not Miss Collins. Maybe she simply forgot she was wearing a priceless dress from one of the most coveted fashion labels that ever existed? Probably not. It's not the wackiest thing we've seen a celeb do to couture, but like they say: When you're wearing custom Chanel, just grab that bull by the horns, right?
