Watch out for falling prices — and, you know, the occasional superstar sighting. In an unscheduled appearance that is sure to throw People of Walmart for a major loop, none other than Ms. Beyoncé Knowles Carter, Queen of the Universe, stopped by a Walmart superstore in Tewksbury, MA, on Friday night. Because, hello, what else does a gazillionaire pop star do?
Sporting a mint-green minidress, black biker jacket, and a wild mane of curls, the singer naturally made a beeline for her just-released self-titled album. She then proceeded to hand out gift cards to fellow shoppers while tossing a few toys into her cart. Guess we know what Blue Ivy's getting this Christmas.
Alas, there's no word on whether or not Queen B got into the real Walmart spirit by stocking up on some camo and a case of soda before heading off to perform in Boston. Better yet, she may have picked up a little something from her mother's Miss Tina by Tina Knowles line, which the retailer sells. Keeping it real must run in the family. (Patch)
