Hole Reuniting? Courtney Love Tweets The Deets

What? No? Really? Yep, there's a chance that your 13-year-old self's favorite pro-fem, pro-mosh, pro-hot-mess band will be back on stage very soon.
As we read on Consequence of Sound, Courtney Love tweeted a photo of her and former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson gettin' all friendly with each other on Saturday. The two have been warring on and off about everything from music to money for quite some time, so the reunion is pretty remarkable. Not only that, but she captioned the snap with the ever-so-tantalizing comment, "And this just happened.... @eric_erlandson @maindepowr @LouiseMensch @xMAdMx 2014 going to be a very interesting year xc." To help you out with the much-needed social-to-English translation, those are the handles of former bassist Melissa Auf der Maur, manager Peter Mensch, and Louise Mensch, Peter's wife, a former Conservative member of the British Parliament, columnist, and blogger for Unfashionista. Yeah, we're kinda scratching our heads about that last one, too.
Now, we've yet to hear anything (social or otherwise) from Erlandson, Auf Der Maur, or drummer Patty Schemel who all joined C-Love in the one-show Hole reunion in 2012. Moreover, there's no word from Peter Mensch or, indeed, the 11 other living former members of Hole. By the by, did you know that Live Through This is 20 years old? Cray, right?
In light of all of this, we're officially upgrading the chance of a Hole reunion of some sort in 2014 from "possible" to "probable" — a solid step forward. We'll let you know what happens next and whether you should get out your A-line babydoll dresses in preparation for a full tour as news develops. (Consequence of Sound)
