Ready for a heavy dose of the creeps? Then prepare yourself for the full-length trailer for Lifetime's upcoming TV adaption of Flowers in the Attic, the 1979 cult novel by V.C. Andrews. The cinematic treatment stars a perfectly crazy-eyed Heather Graham, Mad Men scene-stealer Kiernan Shipka, and Ellen Burstyn as the terrifying grandmother.
Is it going to be weird to see little Sally Draper make out (and more) with her on-screen brother? Yes, of course. But, as The Huffington Post points out, incestuous pop-culture couples are something of a trend right now. Lifetime's take promises to be truer to the original story than the campy '80s film version, and it looks pretty dark, intense, and downright shocking. So, yeah, you could say we're anxiously awaiting the January 18 debut. Watch the full trailer below — and don't blame us if you feel your skin crawling a little. (The Huffington Post)
