Riccardo Tisci is what you might call a Nike fan boy. After all, as Style.com points out, he's worn the same style of Nike kicks for the last 16 years. So, when news broke today that the Givenchy designer would be partnering with the activewear line, it didn't come as such a shocker.
Tisci is coming off an incredible year — one marked by an international CFDA award, among other accolades — and it seems he has even bigger plans for 2014. Though the two are keeping mum on what this collaboration will entail, we can be certain footwear will be a major component.

In speaking with Style.com, Tisci said, "When I got the call, it sounded so strong, so perfect for my DNA. It’s a big honor for me." We can only imagine how beautifully Tisci's high-fashion influence will pair with Nike's athletic aesthetic. But, as for any hints about the impending collection, the French designer only described it as "strong without being loud.” Vague, but consider us intrigued, Riccardo.
The products from this partnership are set to arrive in stores and online this spring. Until then, check out the promo teaser below. (Style.com)
