Evan Rachel Wood is known to True Blood-fans as the 500-year-old eccentric bayou vampire queen, Sophie-Anne Leclerq, and to cult-film fans as Thirteen's troubled youth, Tracy Freeland. However, did you know she also has a crazy set of pipes? Wood had a chance to sing in 2007's surrealist Beatles flick, Across The Universe, and even learned opera for her role as Veda Pierce in Mildred Pierce. But, she's never had a true breakout role as a singer — yet. That could change, based on Wood's earnest and very passionate vocal performance last night at L.A.'s Art of Elysium Heaven Gala. She took on '90s classics such as 4 Non Blondes' "What's Up" and Radiohead's "High And Dry." In a Moschino jacket and dramatic eye makeup, she seemed right in her element as a performer. Is Wood getting her voice in shape for a new role, for a nascent ScarJo-style singing career, or just for fun? We'll have to wait and see. For now, check out her drive home her best Linda Perry impression with "What's Up" below.
