Well, folks, it's come to this. On our latest scroll through Net-A-Porter, we screeched to a halt when we saw these babies. Yes, they really are Christian Louboutin, though you'd be forgiven for taking them for a pair of UGGs — or snow boots you'd buy at Journeys.
To be fair, they're made of what looks to be a fine-quality, buttery-soft, black nappa leather. And, they're lined in shearling, which means your toes will definitely be toasty. The $1,895 boots even sport the famous Louboutin red soles, which, we have to admit, sure have it all over the Land's End logo on our boots' bottoms.
Still, the UGG shape, Loubi soles, and spikes mean there's maybe one spice too many in this chili for our taste. Altogether, these boots have a mukluk-gone-Mad Max vibe that we can't really imagine wearing, um, anywhere. Except, you know, on our postapocalyptic fuel runs through the Australian outback, maybe.
