Wow. On top of headlining Coachella and the Governor's Ball this year, the reunited Outkast duo is heading out on a 40-stop festival tour — all.summer.long.
Announced on the band's website this morning, the tour will, as expected, commence on the Coachella main stage on April 11. After that, details, venues, and locations are TBD, though it shouldn't be hard for André 3000 and Big Boi to scoop up all the festival spots they want throughout the spring and summer. With a projected 40 stops, it's almost a certainty that the boys are coming to a stage near you.
"Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for their 20 years of supporting Outkast,” says André 3000. Big Boi echoes the sentiment, saying, "I'm looking forward to rocking the stage with my Bro Ski and to all the fans — stank you smelly much, this is for y'all!” After seven years of separation and some icky rumors of dissension, this reunion is turning into a veritable love fest.
