Last year's films are getting all kinds of love during awards season right now, but let's switch gears and talk about what Hollywood has up its gilded sleeve. Specifically, we're talking about Quentin Tarantino — because, after hits like Django Unchained and Inglourious Basterds, you know it's gonna be good.
It hasn't been confirmed yet, but Deadline reports that Tarantino has finished the script for a new Western flick. Apparently, the lauded director is showing the draft to a few actors, including Christoph Waltz (who starred in Tarantino's last two movies), and Bruce Dern (who was nominated for Best Actor for Nebraska at last night's Golden Globes). Aside from a working title — The Hateful Eight — details are scant, but watch this spot as the cards fall. (Deadline)
