This Airfryer Makes Fries With 1 Tablespoon Of Oil — Seriously

We'll cut right to the chase. We just made French fries with one tablespoon of oil. Like, legitimate French fries. These are no faux-fried, dehydrated potatoes or those alleged "Satisfries" currently available at a Burger King near you. These are real.
When the Philips Airfryer appeared on our doorstep, a fair amount of eyebrows were raised. Surely, this thing didn't work. And, if it did, the Airfryer was some manifestation of the dark arts, and we ought not meddle with it. But...French fries. So, we got some potatoes and a ridiculously small amount of oil together and decided to see how it worked. Just in case this voodoo actually turned out well, we filmed the entire process. Check. This. Out.
Philips Airfyer HD9220/26, $299.90, available at Williams-Sonoma.
