Ah, the dreaded walk of shame. We've all done it at one point or another. Just never quite like this. In the upcoming comedy titled — you guessed it — Walk of Shame, Elizabeth Banks plays a newswoman who, after a one-night stand with a strapping young fella played here by James Marsden, must trek through the seedy streets of L.A. to make it to the career opportunity of a lifetime.
Over the course of her eight-hour sojourn, she crosses paths with gang bangers, cops, and a pesky little kid with a bicycle, all while rocking the shortest yellow cocktail dress you ever did see. This marks the first time Banks gets to carry a movie all by her lonesome, so it will be intriguing to see whether or not audiences buy her as a comedic lead. The bad news is director Steven Brill's last effort, Movie 43, was a complete and utter train wreck. The good news, however, is Tig Notaro co-stars, and she is everything. That's good enough for us. See you on April 25, Elizabeth. We hope you bring it.
