We know that governor Chris Christie is facing a lot of criticism right now. Something about his, uh, "traffic study." And, anyone living in New Jersey can tell you that commuting can already be a bit of a nightmare — never mind any additional lane closures. Despite fervent claims that he and his staff had nothing to do with the incident, subpoenaed documents say otherwise. In fact, it looks like the Christie administration pulled the George Washington Bridge stunt as political retribution against Fort Lee mayor Mark Sokolich — who endorsed Christie's opponent in the 2013 gubernatorial campaign. Kinda crazy, right?

So crazy, in fact, that Jimmy Fallon just had to address it on Late Night. And, who better to wax comedic about Bridgegate than New Jersey's own Bruce Springsteen? We're not sure what we love more: the clever lyrics or Fallon's Springsteen costume. Check out the clip below.
And, before you're too hard on Christie, remember that once upon a time he gave us this epic Jersey playlist — which is almost as ridiculous as Bridgegate.
