We'd make the argument that today's lunch rooms are less stylistically polarizing than ever before. Indeed, with the growing availability (and increased ingenuity) of clothing at every price point, any two outfits (let alone a whole lunch table of ensembles) are very rarely exactly alike. Still, it might be difficult for one brand to represent every type of student. That is, until now.
Cool-kid skater/surfer line RVCA has teamed up with advocate and model Ashley Smith to create a line everyone can see themselves wearing. There are the preppy looks, paired with hair bows, ankle socks, and loafers. There's the sporty look with a re-imagined varsity jacket/sweater that doesn't scream Friday Night Lights (though, really, that wouldn't be so bad). And, there are punk looks in the form of crop tops and shorts to be paired with chokers and a rebellious attitude. Still, we could see all the pieces, like the sherbet-colored sweater dress, easily fitting into one closet. Namely, Ms. Smith's. Ahead, we scored a first look at the collaboration video shot here in NYC. Click through, and get schooled.
