Not only does its upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past preview issue feature Jennifer Lawrence on the cover, it features a naked Jennifer Lawrence on the cover. To be fair, it's Lawrence in head-to-toe blue makeup, but the racy image still leaves little to the imagination.
In the eagerly anticipated superhero saga, Lawrence reprises her role as the shape-shifting mutant Mystique. Hers is just one of 25 X-Men covers being rolled out by the magazine in honor of its 25th anniversary. Director Bryan Singer confirmed via Twitter that it'll be releasing a new cover every hour. But, Lawrence's is the one that will have everyone talking.
As we approach the mega blockbuster's May 23 release date, expect 20th Century Fox to ramp up the hype machine in a very major way, especially when it comes to all things J Lawr. The white-hot actress starred in last year's highest grossing movie, and has quickly ascended to A-list status. The fact that X-Men: Days of Future Past also features the likes of Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, Nicholas Hoult, and Sir Ian McKellen means that Fox likely has one of the biggest hits of the year on their hands.
