Women will go to extraordinary lengths to be on trend, especially when it's spawned by a celebrity's prized physical asset. You know the usual suspects: butt implants, breast augmentations, eyelid surgeries, hand deveining, etc. Here's one guaranteed to raise an eyebrow: It appears there's a rise in U.K. brow-implant surgeries, inspired by supermodel Cara Delevingne and her badass furries.
According to Daily Mail, a recent survey by a plastic surgery group found that eyebrow-implant surgeries have increased 45% since 2010, with 70% of these women citing over-plucking as the main cause. With the average surgery running about $3,000, this is not an idle purchase, yet droves are lining up to go on trend with instantly amped-up arches. The rise in the demand for the surgery has been dubbed — yep, you guessed it — "The Delevingne Effect."
Two things here: 1) Trends will change, so think about how long you'll have big brows before busting out the Black Card. 2) Maybe find your own beautiful best shape (paired with a little stencil and pencil), then do that to death. It's probably cheaper than Doing A Delevingne, and it's just more...you. Which is the best look anyway.(Daily Mail)
